This is Outplat Security's privacy policy. We've written it in plain English so you can actually read it. It explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and — most importantly — what we don't do with it.
"We do not share your information with anyone. Not ever. Your compliance obligations, your documents, your conversations with us — all of it stays with Outplat."
Outplat Security Pty Ltd (ABN 72 659 725 309) is a Perth-based compliance practice. We chose to operate under the Australian Privacy Principles voluntarily — because a compliance practice should hold itself to the same standard it advises its clients to meet.
Only what we need to do our job:
We don't collect anything we don't need. We don't buy data about you from anyone.
We use your information to:
That's it. We don't use your information for advertising. We don't profile you. We don't make automated decisions about you.
Nobody. We do not share client information with any third party.
The only narrow exceptions:
We never sell your information. We never share one client's information with another.
We store your information on encrypted, secure cloud infrastructure. Access is limited to Outplat personnel and associates working on your engagement. We apply the same security controls we recommend to our clients.
We keep your information for as long as we need to deliver your services and meet our legal obligations — typically seven years after an engagement ends — then we delete it securely.
You can ask us at any time to:
Email us at privacy@outplat.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle a concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or call 1300 363 992.
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll let active clients know directly.
